On September 26, BBC Arabic reported that the Saudi foreign minister called on Iran to stop exploiting the Hajj stampede tragedy for political purposes. 130 Iranians were among the 769 people killed in the stampede and Iran's President Rouhani has called for the UN to open an investigation into the incident.
