On March 2, NRG reported on the ٍSociety for Protection of Nature's petition to the High Court against the Ministry of Agriculture concerning fishing licenses that are being given without supervision. The society claims that fishermen are endangering the fish and the continued existence of the Mediterranean Sea. A result of neglected supervision and not adhering to fishing season breaks, the massive fishing that is occurring is endangering Israel's section of the ecological system.
