The word Aliyah is used to describe Jewish immigration to Israel and comes from the Hebrew verb לעלות – to go up, which implies that to make Aliyah is an honorable action. For this course, you’ll explore the history of Aliyah in Israel, from the organization Nefesh B’Nefesh that assists Jews in making Aliyah to the different Aliyah’s throughout Israel’s history.
