Both Judaism and Islam have the saying, ‘To save one life is to save the world entire’. In this course, you will prepare to read and watch Hebrew media reporting on different people risking their lives for others. The vocabulary for the course will be focused on first-aid and life-saving terms. The lessons for this course cover becoming a paramedic in the IDF, a young Israeli man risking his life to save a young boy in the middle of an intersection, Syria helping to evacuate the White Helmets from Syria to Jordan and applying bandages to life-threatening injuries.
