Mizrahi music makes up an important part of the Israeli music scene. The music is characterized by Middle Eastern tunes and Israeli Mizrahi singers are almost all Jews of Middle Eastern descent. For this course, you will prepare to listen to songs by some of Israel’s most famous Mizrahi artists, including Eyal Golan, Moshe Peretz, Ofra Haza, Dudu Aharon, and Shlomi Shabat.
