The Settlements Issue

This advanced-level Arabic course will prepare you to read and watch Arabic media reporting on the sensitive issue of Israeli settlements in the West Bank. The lessons in the course will cover a spectrum of related topics linked to the settlements issue, including an overview of their size and impact on a future peace agreement, recent controversy over people AirBnBing on settlements, Israel’s evacuation of the Amona outpost / settlement, and the controversy over Israel selling products produced on settlements.
