Youth Staff Engage in Political Mudslinging
Lesson Brief
NRG
On February 11, NRG reported on new campaigns from both the Likud and the Zionist Camp parties. These campaigns and their slogans appear to be the beginning of a new trend of aggressive and personal attacks on the political parties and their voters. Commentators from Israel's Channel 1 noted that it's not helpful to attack the leader of the party, but instead to reveal their failures. Additionally, voters have not liked similar intimidation campaigns using the black and red color schemes, such as the ones that Netanyahu conducted in 2006 regarding Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas.
