Following a long night of negotiations, a tentative peace agreement meant to bring an end to the violence raging in eastern Ukraine was made on Thursday morning between the Russian, Ukrainian, German, and French heads of state in Minsk, Belarus. Among the stipulations of the new agreement are the removal of heavy artillery from the combat zone and also the departure of foreign legions fighting in the area. The ceasefire agreement is scheduled to go into effect on March 15.
