Ukraine has announced it will not allow entry to Russia's contestant in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv due to the fact that the singer, Yulia Samoilova, participated in a concert in Crimea after the territory was taken under Russian control. Ukraine, as well as the majority of the international community, considers Crimea to be illegally occupied by the Russian military.
