Tel Aviv Residents Frustrated with Apartment Prices
Lesson Brief
Ynet
On November 9, Ynet reported that thousands of young couples in Tel Aviv attended an apartment and real estate fair, but came away disappointed at the high prices that most apartments were sold for. Some couples stated that their savings weren't enough to afford many of the apartments, some of which were being sold in the range of 2 million shekels. The ever increasing cost of living in Israel for young couples is a source of constant tension in the country.
