Syrian Swimmers Find Refuge in Berlin

Lesson Brief RT.com
On November 10, Rt.com reported the story of two Syrian sisters and competitive swimmers who fled Syria during the civil war to seek a better life in Europe. During their trip to Europe, the two sisters found themselves jumping off of an inflatable boat filled with refugees on their way to Greece. After ultimately arriving in Germany, a local charity connected the sisters with a swimming club in Berlin, where they now have the opportunity to resume their passion for swimming.
