Study Finds Women More Susceptible to PTSD

On July 6, An Nahar, citing a report by Circulation Magazine, that a recent health study found that women are up to twice as susceptible to post-traumatic stress. PTSD, which can lead to increased risk of heart problems and stroke, is commonly associated with warfare, and thus men. However, this study found it very prevalent in females who suffer from a wide variety of traumatic events, such as sustained physical violence and rape.
