Russian lawmaker Ilya Ponomarev, the only Russian Duma member of last year to vote against Russia's annexation of Crimea, now faces legal action from Russia's general prosecutor's office. Currently in self-imposed exile in the United States, Ponomarev risks losing his political immunity should the charges move forward.
