Russia and Greece Sign Memorandum on New Pipeline Deal

To the dismay of several Western countries, Russia and Greece have signed a memorandum on the construction of a new gas pipeline. The new construction, named "Turkish Stream," is set to break ground at the end of June. It will cross the Black Sea into Turkey and continue into Greece. The Greeks stand to make $2 billion dollars up front from the deal, which could help the country pay off some of its immediate debts coming due.
