Royal Bank of Scotland froze RT's bank accounts today, following suit with some other European banks in hoping to stop the channel from propagating Russian state propaganda and misinformation. RT and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs claim that this is in violation of free speech. The British government said that it was an internal bank matter and it gave no orders to freeze the accounts.
