Purim 2016
Lesson Brief
Mako
On March 24, Israelis took to the streets to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim. Jews around the world celebrate Purim by hearing the Book of Esther, dressing up in costumes, and partying. Purim commemorates the saving of the Jewish people from an evil plot hatched by Haman, a royal vizier to the Persian King Achashverosh.
