Oles Buzina, a Ukrainian journalist well known for his pro-Russian views, was shot dead in Kiev on Thursday, marking the third murder in a matter of days of figures known to support pro-Russian views inside of Ukraine. In response, Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko has called for a full and transparent investigation of the murders. Much of the early information on the murder was spread around social media, where people tried to piece together who could be responsible and if the act is linked to the other recent murders.
