President Rivlin Disagrees with Freezing Palestinian Taxes

On January 5, Ynet reported on the disagreement between President Rivlin and Prime Minister Netanyahu concerning the freezing of taxes for the Palestinian Authority. President Rivlin addressed a conference of future Israeli ambassadors stating that such an action harms the Palestinians ability to establish themselves which is an interest of Israel's. Regarding investigations following the summer's operations in Gaza, Rivilin stated that Israel knows how to judge it's own participants through the law.
