Obama calls for neutral observers in Aleppo

On Friday, President Barack Obama gave a speech in which he touched on several issues before he leaves office, including the tragic situation in Aleppo. During his speech, President Obama called for neutral observers to be deployed to the city in order to protect civilians. The evacuation of civilians and opposition fighters from the city has experienced several disruptions, including accusations from both sides of targeting civilians. On another front, President Obama also discussed the Russian hacking of DNC materials and alleged interference in the presidential elections in order to help elect Donald Trump. Obama reiterated that he had previously warned Putin to "cut it out" and vowed that there would be severe consequences to the Russian action.
