Most Israelis Believe the Holocaust Will Be Forgotten
Lesson Brief
Maariv
On April 8, Maariv reported an Israel poll that found over 80 percent of Israelis believe that the Holocaust will turn into a faint memory, especially now that most survivors are dead. 42 percent of Israelis believe that the Holocaust will not be forgotten, but that its historical impact will fade. The Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoa) begins Wednesday and ends Thursday evening.
One prominent feature of this set is the repeated use of placing the letter ב before a noun or verb to create a new meaning (בהתחשב, בקרבנו, בהתייחס ל, בהחלט, באופן מובהק, בהתאמה )
