Minsk and Baku Alarmed over chilling relations between Moscow and Ankara

Lesson Brief BBC Russian
As relations between Moscow and Ankara become frosty because of the Turkish shoot-down of a Russian fighter jet, other post-Soviet countries are ensuring their own relations stay friendly. Belorussian president Alexander Lukashenko and Azerbaijani president Ilkham Aliev met in Minsk over the weekend to discuss their bilateral relations. Their goal was to show Moscow and Ankara that their own relations will not be influenced or affected by the diplomatic fighting between the two sides.
