Metro Stations Cleared of Illegal Kiosks

Lesson Brief Fontanka
One of the main city squares in St. Petersburg has been cleared of dozens of illegally operating kiosks. The unsightly, often shoddily built structures had long been an eyesore in the city's Sennaya Square but had long been tolerated by city authorities. The city now plans to expand its demolition efforts to areas around other metro stations throughout the city.
