Massive mosaic unveiled in Jericho

On October 20, Al Jazeera reported on the unveiling of the world's largest mosaic in Jericho. The Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities uncovered the mosaic as part of a public display that could help revitalize tourism in the West Bank city. The mosaic covered a large portion of a reception hall in an Umayyad palace and was first discovered in the 1930s.
