Lech Walesa Collaborated with the Security Services in Communist Poland
Lesson Brief
Deutsche Wlle
More evidence has been released that co-founder of "Solidarnosc" and former Polish president Lech Walesa worked for the Polish Security Services (SB) in the 1970s and 80s. There is still uncertainty as to his actual role with the SB. However, it is important to note that during the communist times in the USSR and Eastern Bloc, many post-communist leaders "worked" for the security services before the late 80s and early 90s.
The video this week is an hour clip from a radio show in Moscow, talking about Lech Walesa and how the security services operated in communist countries.
