Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov sparked outrage in the world of MMA this week after permitting children, including three of his own sons, to participate in unsanctioned matches against each other. The children, some as young as eight years old, fought without helmets or protective gear. Fedor Emelianenko, a famed MMA fighter from Russia, was especially harsh in his criticism, calling the event unacceptable and unjustifiable. Kadyrov, meanwhile, posted videos of the event on Instagram and lauded the achievements of his sons in the ring.
