Jordanian Salafists Convicted of Spreading Terrorist Propaganda

On November 17, Al Sharq Al Awsat reported that the Jordanian judicial system convicted a number of Salafists for various charges related to terrorism, including circulating terrorist propaganda and planning to bomb the Australian embassy. During their public trials, the accused claimed to be "with ISIS" and its self-proclaimed caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The men will face several years in prison, with some to be sent into hard labor.
