Israeli high school students continue protest

On May 8, Mako reported that high school students throughout Israel will continue to their protest, along with the National Student and Youth Council, of Teachers' Union budget cuts that include yearly trips, cultural events, and driving tests. The protests were briefly suspended out of respect of the national holocaust memorial day. The article noted that 350,000 students had been absent from their classes to particpate in the protests.
