On April 27th, Ynet reported on the Israeli aid mission to Nepal following the earthquake that has claimed over 3,000 lives and more than 6,000 injured. One plane has already returned to Israel, carrying with it three families and their surrogate babies from Nepal, and more are expected to arrive. Israel has sent a team of paramedic and IDF forces to set up a field hospital and rescue people affected by the disaster. This article includes words dealing with earthquakes and medical emergency terms. Make sure to note the two words for earthquake - רעידת אדמה and רעש האדמה. Also know that חמ"ל which is short for חדר מלחמה is used here to mean an "operations room" and not a "war room".
