Houthi Rebels Surround the Yemeni Prime Minister’s Residence

Lesson Brief Al Arabiya
On January 19, Al Arabiya reported that Houthi rebels had surrounded the residence of Yemeni Prime Minister Khalid Baha after clashes across Sanaa and an apparent ceasefire between the rebels and government forces. Yemeni government officials have called for an urgent meeting to find a way out of the violence. Media sources have reported that  at least nine people were killed during the clashes. The Houthi rebels have called for changes in the draft constitution and national authority in exchange for the release of  the Yemeni chief of staff.
