Gush Etzion Barrier Fence Vote Postponed

Lesson Brief NRG
On September 21, NRG reported that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu postponed the vote on a separation fence in the Gush Etzion region. Building was supposed to begin on September 21st, however a protest of settlers, Palestinians, and a UNESCO petition prevented such action from occurring. The UNESCO petition designates relevant and affected land involved in the fence location as a World Heritage Site.
