On March 24, the Egyptian Court of Cassation issued a final and unappealable ruling that set former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak free after six years detention in an Egyptian military hospital. Mubarak, who was ousted in the 2011 Egyptian Revolution and sentenced to life imprisonment, was accused of ordering the killing of protestors and corruption.
