CNN Arabic recently reported that glassmaker Corning plans to launch Gorilla Glass 5, which will be even more resistant to damage from falls and scratches than its predecessors. The glass is used on all major smartphones, tablets, and other devices and is now expected to survive 80 percent of falls from 1.6 meters.
