Controversial Ads Appear in NYC Subway for “Man in the High Castle”

Lesson Brief Коммерсантъ
Amazon's highly-rated new drama series, Man in the High Castle, has caught the attention of many through the company's ad campaign in the New York City subway. New Yorkers received a surprise last week when they entered some NYC subway trains and saw them covered with WW2 Nazi swastikas and flags of the Japanese empire. The show itself is based on a book of the same by Philip Dick which is an alternative history story about life in the United States if the allies had lost WW2. With many people chiming in about the advertisements on all side of the spectrum, one thing is for sure: the show's popularity has skyrocketed and it has been receiving rave reviews from viewers and critics alike. I actually binge-watched the series myself, and I HIGHLY recommend it!
