Kogalymavia Flight 9268 crashed over the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt on Saturday, October 31st. The details have no yet been discovered, but many sources are confirming that the airplane was at cruising altitude and broke apart in the air. This is another blow to an already problematic Russian airline industry. In the past several years, there have been many crashes involving Russian airplanes, the most well-knowing being the crash of the airplane carrying the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl hockey team, killing all aboard.
