Lesson Brief Al Jazeera
On May 7, Al Jazeera reported on the re-opening of a historic mosque reopened in the capital of Bosnia's Serb region. The mosque had been destroyed during the civil war and the inauguration ceremony was seen as a reconciliation event for the region's Muslims and Christians. Thousands of Muslims attended the ceremony, which was also attended by Turkey's outgoing Prime Minister Amhet Davutoglu.
