Abandoned Israeli Police Station on Temple Mount
Lesson Brief
NRG
On April 9th, NRG reported on the abandoned police station on the Temple Mount that was set afire and looted during the past summer, during the time of Operation Protective Edge. Although the Prime Minister's office denied the claims that Netanyahu was personally responsible for ordering the police to stand down, the police did not deny that possibility.
In this set the word הופקר "to be abandoned" and נטוש "abandoned" are used as long as the word מאויש "manned" which is in reference to the presence of police in the station. There are also some technical terms of police equipment in this article.
